Last year, Slate Property Group founders David Schwartz and David Nussbaum teamed up with Kweighbaye Kotee to launch S.P.A.C.E., a 501(c)3 organization created to help preserve the cultural diversity in the arts in Brooklyn—and in early 2017, + POOL become one of the first to win a S.P.A.C.E grant.

With their $5,000 grant, we’re working on the research, design, and dissemination of the S.T.E.M. curriculum in dozens of schools across Brooklyn.
