Our Managing Director, Kara Meyer shared our vision with NYCEDC incoming President Andrew Kimball
Pitching the City.
Our Managing Director, Kara Meyer, was among a group of amazing City Fellows pitching the incoming New York City Economic Development Corporation President Andrew Kimball on ideas for a more equitable New York.
While we have designed ways to safely access NYC’s rivers through engineering and process controls, our project and its piloting require policy changes and interagency collaboration to realize our vision. Our team is now working with the team at NYCEDC to navigate these challenges. Kara spoke eloquently about the economic opportunities that these policy changes could bring to the 520 miles of waterfront across NYC and to our vision for the future – where everyone has access to one of our most precious natural resources, our rivers.
