Receive our first Army Corps permit to get in the water

While we still can’t work on permitting + POOL until we have a home, we have some other fun stuff in the works we’re permitting that will get us in the water and connect to our water quality instruments so we can share our data with the public in new ways.  We’ve been working with our friends at McLaren Engineering on permitting this forthcoming summer project and while its no where near the scale of + POOL, its pretty unprecedented and has been incredibly educational for us to understand the joint permit application process.

Through this project, Jeff and Kara have had a crash course on permitting in-water, floating structures in NYC.
