CB1 Waterfront Committee passed a resolution for + POOL

Thanks to an overwhelming amount of support from the community, we’re getting closer than ever to having a permanent home for + POOL. Here’s the low-down on what’s happening:

LAST WEEK: Tribeca Citizen writes an article
The Tribeca Citizen tells their readers all about + POOL and lets everyone know how to let Community Board 1, the Mayor and everyone else that they want to swim in the river.

LAST TUESDAY: CB1 Waterfront Committee drafts a resolution
Due to an outpouring of support from vocal community members, the Waterfront, Parks and Cultural Committee unanimously drafted a resolution to recommend + POOL be incorporated into plans for the Brooklyn Bridge Esplanade.

LAST NIGHT: CB1 Full Board votes
The whole CB1 board voted YES last night to incorporating + POOL into the Brooklyn Bridge Esplanade. + POOL IS NOW OFFICIALLY BEING RECOMMENDED TO THE MAYOR’S OFFICE. It’s about to get fun. 🙂
