Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams Pledges to Jump in the River

In the very beginning of the project, we were so consumed with telling the story and vision of + POOL, that the reality of what the journey would be like and who we’d meet along the way never really crossed our minds. But within a few months we were catapulted in a world of meetings with water organizations, universities, technology companies, engineering offices, and most foreign to us: city and governmental agencies.

Of all the meetings and of all the people, Eric Adams is definitely one of the raddest, most supportive officials we’ve met. After sharing our intentions to work with the City of New York to identify the best home for + POOL, he pledged to jump into the river with us (without a + POOL!) once we got commitment from City Hall. That’s pretty cool.
