Making Art with our Idols & Friends

One of the coolest ways that we’ve been able to drum up support and hype around + POOL has been through product collaborations with artists and designers that we love and respect.

Cindy Sherman Pool Float

Cindy Sherman is an artist, New Yorker, photographer, icon and long time + POOL supporter. In 2018 she designed a pool float to benefit + POOL, produced by Third Drawer Down. She’s one of the most influential artists of our time, with her work defined by distinct periods of creative. Her latest work is inspired by Instagram and modern photo-editing apps, creating surreal portraits. The Pool Float features Oops, 2018 and is being sold in museum stores around the country and the world, with a percentage of all global sales supporting + POOL.

Swimsuits by Mike Perry

Mike Perry has been one of our biggest supporters since the day we launched the idea. A talented, brilliant and hard-working artist, but even more importantly, he’s an incredibly generous and kind person–a great example of the friends behind + POOL making it happen.

In support of our first annual Summer Pool Party, and in partnership with the kind people at Print All Over Me (our neighbors at NEW INC at the time), Mike created the first official swimsuit for + POOL. The design, appropriately titled ‘Splash,’, was printed all over (LOL) both a one-piece swimsuit, and swim trunks.
