+ POOL, together with The Cities Project by Heineken and Tribeca Film Festival, celebrates its “Swim in the River” campaign with a huge waterfront party on August 3rd on Pier 15 – featuring live music by Museum of Love, food, beer by Heineken, and a special premiere of a documentary short (like real short, 10min),  Floating an Idea: The + POOL Story. Produced by Tribeca’s Paula Weinstein, and directed by Bianca Giaever of M SS NG P ECES, and narrated by Neil Patrick Harris, the film tells the story of + POOL, the history of floating bathhouses and what NYC will be like once its built. Oh, and there’s a VR experience that’ll show you what it will be like to swim in + POOL.
