Join Friends of + POOL this summer as we complete a Riversweep of the East River, located in the area sited for the future development of + POOL.

As committed stewards of the river, we will “sweep” the Brooklyn Bridge Esplanade from Pier 35 to Pier 17, removing trash and debris that could enter the river, changing its ecology, and preventing the natural flow of water in the Hudson River Estuary. Marine debris also harms wildlife, threatens public health, and impacts the economic vitality of the communities the water surrounds–which is all of us!
