Aqua Fitness: New York, New York
On March 25, Aqua Fitness with H₂shO™️ celebrates New York, New York: the city in song, rhythm, and motion. From classic anthems to contemporary pop, this workout traces the sound of a city built by dreamers, newcomers, and culture makers. The movement is expansive and energizing, designed to challenge your stamina while keeping things supported and accessible in the water. This class is for the dreamers, the descendants, the theater kids, and the culture keepers. In other words: New Yorkers. This series runs until April 1, and classes are held on Wednesdays at 4 PM at Seward Park Pool (68 Ludlow Street).
H₂shO™️ (pronounced H-two-show) is an inclusive, near-zero-impact aqua fitness experience created by Erwin Gonzalez. It blends smart aquatic training with music, culture, and intentional choreography—designed for every body. You do not need to know how to swim. You just need curiosity and a willingness to move and play. H₂shO™️ classes are not dance classes, but they are choreographed. Every move has a purpose, and every transition is intentional. The water supports you while the music carries you.
Aqua Fitness is free for Monthly Lappers and parents of children enrolled in our Bluefish Learn to Swim Program.
