Throw Our First Pool Party at Hotel Americano

When we first incorporated as a non-profit in 2015, we knew that the key to successful and continual fundraising included everything from building an incredible Board of Directors, to throwing awesome parties–and a project like + POOL literally makes no sense without throwing a few good pool parties in the process.

It turns out that finding a good pool to accommodate a lot of people (for a party) is tough to find in New York. Hotel Americano–with a beautiful rooftop pool, bar and restaurant—had just recently opened, and were super excited to be the first to host our annual Summer Pool Party.

For our first summer fundraiser, it was pretty rad. Sponsored by Viber, we launched custom swimsuits by Mike Perry, had drinks courtesy of Peroni and Campari, music by DJ Pumpkin Patch, an underwater photobooth by PHHHOTO.
