Shared Our Research at SUBMERGE Science Festival

Every year, Hudson River Park Trust (our hosts for our Float Lab filtration test in 2014) & New York Hall of Science team up to put on SUBMERGE—a FREE, day-long science extravaganza to celebrate local marine science and raise awareness about our coastal waters.

A lot of the work we’re regularly doing at + POOL on the daily is fairly data and science heavy (as it should), so whenever we get the chance to share our filtration design, engineering and data with new and captivated audiences, we do it. This year, our friend Gabe Einsohn and Arup‘s Senior Water Engineer Nancy Choi joined + POOL to share the project and give the kids free (temporary, duh) + POOL Tattoos.

Over 4,000 New Yorkers attended the festival, and we pretty much talked to every one of them.
