Borings Here We Go!
Today we started work on our first pool’s borings!
What’s a boring one might ask?
Borings are specialized holes excavated into the ground to collect soil/rock samples, install foundations, or create utility pathways. For us, that means measuring the distance between the mudline and the bedrock so we can design the anchoring system to hold our pool in place.
We’ll drill up to 80 feet across 6 points or until we hit bedrock (whichever is first).
