+ POOL Winter Party @ Kartell

Thanks to the awesome folks at Kartell, we gathered friends to launch our 2023 season at Kartell’s flagship store in Soho, New York on Thursday, February 23. From 6pm-8pm drinks were flowing, music was going (listen and dance to the special mix here!), and swimsuits by Gabriela Pires Beachwear were sold! The party was the official launch of what we call our “Monthly Laps” program, which is a fun way for us to gather the community supporting + POOL while also raising support for us to continue our work and produce our programs. 

We want to thank John, Lou, Tolga and the whole team at Kartell for being such great partners in planning this event and hosting us at their US Flagship Store. John is an innovator – he reached out to us some time ago to plan something together and it was so great to see it materialize in this fun event.  We’ve said it before but + POOL is truly community driven and it’s everyone coming together to do their own thing for + POOL that will make river swimming and equitable access to swim education across NYC a reality.  For John, Lou, and Tolga, that just so happens to be hosting fun parties! 🙂 

What’s a Monthly Lapper? Monthly Lappers set up a recurring donation of $5 or more each month to support + POOL’s work and receive access to special benefits throughout the year.
